The National Sorority Board governs the sorority in accordance with the National Bylaws, policies and procedures. They provide guidance to collegiate and alumnae chapters, facilitate the bonds of sisterhood between members and serve as representatives of Sigma Alpha at sorority, industry and affiliated association events.

Apply to Be a Chapter Consultant!
If you’ve got a love for Sigma Alpha and a desire to give back, have leadership experience, and maybe even possess a few years of professional work experience – this may be the role for you.
Chapter Consultants support, mentor and guide chapter officers for the ultimate successful operation of the collegiate chapters. In this role, you’ll regularly communicate with your six to eight assigned chapters and hold monthly conference calls with chapter leadership from all of your chapters.
Additionally, you will travel to about four chapters in each year, which may require time away from work. If you have any questions, contact the Collegiate Membership Director at collegiate@sigmaalpha.org.

Apply to Be a Leadership Seminar Coordinator!
Are you interested in serving the organization in a way that will provide sisters from across the country with an unparalleled professional development opportunity? The National Sorority Board is currently seeking applications for a volunteer Alumnae to serve as Leadership Seminar Coordinator, to coordinate the planning and implementation of high-quality professional programming for members at the 2022 Sigma Alpha/Alpha Gamma Rho Leadership Seminars.
This is an incredible opportunity to apply your experience and creativity to lead the design and delivery of professional programming that prepares members for career and personal leadership success. Details for this exciting opportunity, including roles and responsibilities, time commitment, and qualifications, can be found here on the homepage of the Greenhouse under ‘Chapter Documents > Governance/Management > Leadership Seminar Coordinator Duties.’
Alumnae members with skills in event planning, teaching and/or workshop facilitation, and coaching and who are able to meet the substantial time commitment are encouraged to apply through the Greenhouse. Applications are due April 1st, for a one-year appointment begins May 15th.
